Welcome To Little Red

Where we rediscover our agency and explore new ways of living in a female body.

Reclaiming our fertility

It’s a familiar story. You get your period at 13. It comes every 28 days. You go on birth control to avoid pregnancy. When you’re ready, you stop the hormones, get pregnant, and bring home your baby after a quick and smooth birth.

Unfortunately, this is not the reality for many of us. What happens when the Pill gives you migraines? When your cabinet is stocked to the brim with OPKs, but you can’t conceive? And how are you supposed to feel confident giving birth when all you’ve heard are horror stories?

From a young age, we get negative messages about the female body. Pain is part of the deal. Hormones make us crazy. Thankfully, we can learn to work with our bodies and reclaim our agency.

I know how liberating it is to own your fertility. It may be a bit off the beaten path, but that makes it all the more fun!

Hi there! I’m Cindy

Let’s Nerd Out About Body Literacy!

After dealing with painful and heavy periods as a teen, I developed a serious distrust of my body. Then, in my twenties, I tried hormonal birth control to prevent pregnancy. Getting pregnant was the worst thing I could think of, so I was committed to making it work.

Yet, after 2 years of dealing with nausea, constant bleeding, and stabbing pain, I completely switched gears and learned to chart my cycles. Actually understanding my fertility empowered me to trust my body again. To appreciate my hormones as an integral part of my health, whether they’re generated through menstrual cycles or pregnancy.

I quickly decided I wanted to share this knowledge with everyone who needs an alternative to hormonal birth control, as well as anyone taking on the rewarding (but often challenging) task of becoming a parent.

How Can I Support You?

My main goal is to give you the tools to make informed decisions about your body. No matter your circumstance or prior knowledge, I want you to understand how your body works and what options are available to you.

I’m trained in the sensiplan® method, which can be used to avoid pregnancy or identify the optimal fertile window in each menstrual cycle. Curious? Find out more about my fertility awareness courses!
